Voting has begun in the 9th Annual EBSQ Ripped Off Show and will continue through the end of the week, 8 August. Siamese amongst the Rocks was inspired by Tracey Allyn Greene’s Siamese Cat. I love Tracey’s River Rock Portraits, as I am a lover of stones too. It seemed only natural to bring one [...]

The Ripped Off Show is an annual tradition at EBSQ, but this was my first time participating. What a blast!! I partnered with fellow EBSQ Artist, Tracey Allyn Greene, who you will remember from an earlier post created a Tree Frog painting on stone as her Rip of my Art. Tracey is well known for [...]

I finished up the bottom portion of the Bear commission today. Tomorrow I will begin tackling the Bear!

Now available to purchase for only $30.00 is Free Spirits II.

I really love how these 2 small paintings turned out. They would look lovely hung together in a hallway or maybe a small powder room.

I wanted to complete this on Friday and post about it, but I ended up sick with a sore throat. It’s Monday and the start of a new week and I’m feeling better! So starting where I left off I still needed to finish the pebbles around the central pebble.

Next I started on just a [...]

I started work today on the two small panel paintings titled Free Spirits. The panels are very different to paint on and it too me a little while to get my rhythm. They are made by Ampersand and measure 5 x 5 inches (each) with a 3/4″ profile. The surface is slightly textured but when [...]
