It’s been another eventful week, as usual. Wednesday I had my follow up appointment concerning the X Rays and MRI I had on my neck and back. The results showed that I have 4 herniations in my neck – oh joy. One of my cervical vertebrae also shows signs of arthritis. The X-Ray of my back did show something off with my Lumbar vertebrae, but someone goofed and didn’t do the MRI of that region. So I have to go back next week for another MRI.
My cervical vertebrae are bad enough though that I’m being referred to a Neurosurgeon. It doesn’t mean I will need surgery, just that a specialist needs to look at my MRI results to judge what is going on and figure out why this happened. Is it because of my current condition or is it separate, etc.
All of this certainly explains why I’ve been in such terrible pain, especially in my neck. This pain has slowly been building over the last few years, now it’s constant nearly everyday. Ugh…
Life does go on though and I’ve been listing some new items to my Etsy shop – Nature’s Charms. One is pictured below and I call it Blue Dawn. It is a mixed media painting I created while living in London, UK.
This piece was originally based on a still life consisting of a black, female mannequin, a lace shaw, and a delicate, paper umbrella. It was also turned the other way around!!

It’s available in either orientation and I will sign it when you let me know if you’d like it horizontal or vertical.
There are other small works of art I’m adding to Etsy over the next week. So check back often. When you buy original art you are supporting original artists!!
